Oh, Heavenly Father, We thank you for food and remember the hungry. We thank you for health and remember the sick. We thank you for friends and remember the friendless. We thank you for freedom and remember the enslaved. May these remembrances stir us to service, that your gifts to us may be used for others. Amen.
During this holiday season, I think it is important to reflect and remember the blessings in our lives. It's very easy to look at what others have that we don't so we must pay close attention to look at the things we have that others do not. It is those blessings in our lives that will feed our hunger, warm our souls, and will give us the strength to proceed even in our darkest hours. As you settle in each night throughout this joyful season, please take a moment to count the blessings in your life.
